Frallan
Frallan is a playable character in Slap City from the Princess Remedy series of games. She is a Saturnian healer and the ex-girlfriend of Princess Remedy. She originally appeared in Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, and since then has made multiple appearances in different Ludosity games. She has a love for chocolate.
Frallan's alternate costume, Nuna, is yet another healer from the Princess Remedy series. All three healers, including Remedy, wear similar outfits with band-aid tiaras.
Moveset
Normals
Move | Damage | Description | |||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Jab Punch Overhead punch |
4, 6 | A quick two-hit punch combo. The first hit knocks enemies away, and the second hits them down at a fixed knockback. It can be hard to combo the first and second hits at higher damages, as the first punch will start to hit enemies too far away to link them together. The second hit can force a wake-up, if it hits someone lying on the ground. ✜ Tilt cancel: The second hit can be cancelled into any tilt attack on hit. ★ Special cancel: This move can be cancelled into her down-special, Cosmic Wind, by pressing the special button on hit.

7 | A lunging kick attack which has Frallan slide forward a bit. The forward momentum is useful for follow-ups with her special cancel, but it also makes it harder to safely space. ★ Special cancel: This move can be cancelled into her down-special, Cosmic Wind, by pressing the special button on hit.

Aerials
Move | Damage | Description | |||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Neutral Aerial Long kick Sledge kick |
8 / 6 / 4, 5 | A dropkick attack that stays active for a long time. The move gets weaker the longer it stays out, lowering in damage and knockback, and raising the angle slightly. Pressing the attack button while this move is active performs a follow-up attack: an overhead kick which spikes enemies. Both the initial and follow-up attacks will clank with other interacting moves, and the follow-up can still be cancelled into when the first hit clanks. The landing lag increases significantly when using the follow-up. | |||||||||||

Forward Aerial Scalpel stab Incision |
6, 6 | Frallan stabs forward with her scalpel implement. This move has considerable horizontal range, making it a good poking tool. There is an optional second hit, performed by pressing or holding the attack button after the initial thrust, in which Frallan pulls the scalpel back, dragging enemies behind herself. The second hit has more knockback, landing lag, and less stun than the first, making it more of a situational mix-up option. Similar to her neutral aerial, it can win clank exchanges by using the second hit after clanking with the first. | |||||||||||

Down Aerial Rocket star |
10 / 15 | Frallan extends herself and kicks downward at an angle. There is a sweetspot which consumes a pill on hit. This move has different properties when hitting grounded and aerial opponents. In the air, it spikes players, and on the ground, it knocks players directly up. A sweetspot spike offstage will put enemies in a really bad spot, and a grounded sweetspot has enough stun to combo into her neutral special. | |||||||||||

Forward Strong Rocket gun |
15 / 8 | Frallan makes the shape of a gun with her hand and fires. A large explosion bursts out in front of her, consuming a pill. This move is both fast and strong, making it a great option for killing off of the sides, but its range is fairly short and it is very unsafe on shield. Without a pill, the move is drastically weaker, losing nearly all of its kill potential. | |||||||||||

Neutral Special Take your vitamins |
25 | Frallan takes out a large pill, winds up for a moment, and quickly swings it forward, dealing a whopping 25 damage on hit. This move is extremely powerful, but because of its long startup time, it can be hard to hit with it. This move can turn around immediately after initiating it by pressing/holding in the opposite direction. When holding the special button, it can repeatedly be turned around during its wind-up, resetting the move every time. | |||||||||||

— | On the ground, a quick jump upwards, and in the air, a quick downwards dive. This move has no hitboxes and deals no damage, it's purely for movement. The aerial version halts vertical momentum slightly at the end of itself. This move can be cancelled into from her jabs or tilt attacks on hit by pressing the special button. Appearances
Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt

Frallan's first appearance is in Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt. She is referenced by an NPC named Plait asking what happened to Remedy's friend, and by Queen Amelia as being a fellow healer. Frallan can be found behind a locked door in the Nothing Dimension, a location hidden in the Black Hole area. A box of chocolates is required to unlock the door.
Once spoken to, she reveals she was the original healer that was sent down to Hurtland, but failed due to the heart break she felt from their break up. She then allows Remedy to attempt and heal her broken heart, prompting Remedy to fight a group of enemies known as HeartBreak, the toughest in the game. Once healed, she states that it's okay for them to be just friends and says she will be waiting in case Remedy wants to be something more. The player can choose to marry Frallan at the end of the game... or any other NPC in the game, including the empty chest directly next to her.
Princess Remedy in a Heap of Trouble
Frallan makes an appearance in the beginning area. She is sick from eating too much chocolate. This time, the HeartBreak enemies are much weaker due to this being in the beginning of the game. Once healed, Frallan can be taken on a date and grants the Heal ability to be used in Healing Mode.
Card City Nights
Frallan was added in a content update to include Princess Remedy cards. She appears on an uncommon revive card that adds 2 life when paired with Remedy.
Card City Nights 2
Frallan makes a cameo as Polite Student in the medical bay. Gossip and dialogue reveals that she created Holo-Doc in the image of an ex after a break-up.

Easter eggs & secrets
- Holding taunt while using down strong causes Frallan to twirl her finger like a revolver.
- Holding clutch while pressing taunt lets her dance. This can be held.
- She can do the same dance as her victory animation by holding taunt while winning the match.
- Holding taunt during forward special throws out Jums or Bemp instead.
- Frallan/Nuna/Bees can give Remedy/Amelia a smooch by pressing taunt while grabbing her. Remedy/Amelia can do the same thing to Frallan/Nuna/Bees as well.
- Frallan has a special victory animation for when she wins a team battle with Remedy, in which she lets the princess hold her tight. However, this does not work with Nuna, Bees or Amelia.
Win quotes
- Frallan versus:

- Princess Amelia: You look strangely familiar. Have we met?
- Business Casual Man: No, I don't want to buy any vaccuum cleaners! I hope I made that clear enough!
- Goddess of Explosions: I'd say you're a bit too peppy for your own good.
- Asha: Wait, were you missing an arm before we started fighting?
- Ansaksie: There, there. You're a sore loser, aren't you?
- Frallan: Mimic, is that you? Sorry if I went too rough on you!
- Nuna: Sorry Nuna, but I can't let you have my Remmy!
- Bees: Hey! Get your own moves, you dork!

- Rubibi: Give me two tickets to your next concert. Or else.
- Jenny Fox: What a happy little fox. The axes really accentuate your positive vibes.
- Jenny Cat: I like cats. I'm not being sarcastic. I really do like them. Really. Love the fluffy little things.

- Princess Amelia: You're going easy on me, aren't you? The feeling's not mutual.
- Business Casual Man: If your morals were a company, it's declared bankruptcy. Hey, here's another one - if your soul was a store there'd be a sign saying "sold out".
- Goddess of Explosions: You're a goddess, huh? Guess this establishes the power level around here.
- Asha: You're the mightiest warrior of a galactic alien empire? Okay.
- Ansaksie: How about you fight with your fists? The result should be the same.
- Frallan: What makes you think I'm interested in Remedy? Stop being so dense!
- Nuna: Sorry, Mimic. Thought you were a Mercurian shape stealer.
- Bees: Are you copying me? I don't like it when people copy me.
- Cruiser Tetron: Fifteen centimeters of exotic metal plating is no match for my fists.
- Orka: Fight me with your bare hands, coward!
- Teams: This team victory was all you. Yep. Totally all you.
- Free-for-All: My victory was never in question.
- Bees versus:
- Ittle Dew: You really go all out, don't you?
- Masked Ruby: Over already? It was fun while it lasted.
- Magic Crystal: Were my powers too much for you? Oh, this is only the beginning.
- Rubibi: What a cutie. Shame I had to destroy you.
- Jenny Fox: I like your energy! Release the RAGE, girl!
- Jenny Cat: Want to be my pet? I won't take no for an answer.
- Ultra Fishbunjin 3000: Such POWER! I NEED it!
- Ultra Mechabun: Robots aren't psychic. I feel kind of bad for you.
- Princess Remedy: You're a charmer, aren't you? Too bad we didn't meet under friendlier circumstances.
- Princess Amelia: You're the kind of person who takes what she wants. I like that.
- Business Casual Man: You're a funny man. I can't even determine what kind of life form you are.
- Goddess of Explosions: My, is it a bit hot here?
- Asha: I like your competitive spirit. It awakens things in me!
- Ansaksie: You fight hard, but play it cool so people can't see what a sore loser you are. I know how it is.
- Frallan: There's something familiar about your fighting style.
- Bees: You're like my clone! We could take turns being the mean one.
- Cruiser Tetron: You're psychic too, aren't you? Or something to that effect, I guess.
- Orka: Calm down.
- Teams: We did good, team. How about a group hug?
- Free-for-All: You see, I won.

Trivia
- A running theme of Frallan's character is that she loves chocolate. Not only do many pieces of artwork depict her carrying a box of chocolates, but a box of chocolates is required to find her in A World of Hurt, and her sickness in A Heap of Trouble involves eating too much chocolate.
- In Card City Nights 2, Polite Student shares a conversation with Punk (Jenny Frog) that reveals that they are siblings.
- Frallan and Remedy appear as playable characters in Wonder Wickets, an intergalactic mini-golf adventure game by Rightstick Studios. Courses based on Hurtland, the central location of Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, also appear.
