Business Casual Man is a playable character in Slap City. He's a recurring character in the Ludosity universe. Unlike the other playable characters of Slap City, he doesn't have a game of his own.

Physical description

Business Casual Man is a weiner-shaped man dressed in denim overalls and brown boots. The overalls have a large red tie connected around them and are kept on via two large yellow suspenders. He is typically seen pulling on the suspenders when walking. He also has a constant cheery expression that never changes.

10 BCM lunges forward, grabbing whoever is in his path with his mouth before spinning around and throwing them to the ground. This move will grab through shields only if its begun while on the ground (a shiny light effect at his mouth signifies this). In the air, this move does not grab through shields, and will only do the initial hop once before landing again. After grabbing someone, BCM can turn around before throwing them.

Appearances

Card City Nights

He first appears as an NPC in Turnip Corp. He is known to put fish inside water coolers and speaks in non-sensical business jargon and buzzwords. He must be defeated along with Business Turnip in two consecutive matches in order for the player to progress with the story.

An update adds him as a card that can be obtained through Alchemy. He stars as an Uncommon No-Symbol card that discards cards from the opponents deck at the beginning of every turn.

Card City Nights 2

Business Casual Man appears again in Card City Nights 2, where his suspenders are now glowing. He can be fought multiple times in the Science Lab and rewards 12 coins. He also appears on a legendary card that redirects any self-inflicted damage back to the opponent when active.

Ittle Dew 2

He makes numerous cameos. The first potential appearance is in the Art Museum dungeon, where he spouts business jargon.

When playing through Frog Mode, he will be placed in front of the changing room, and in Jenny Berry's room to prevent players from changing their outfits.

Easter eggs & secrets

  • Holding clutch and pressing taunt makes BCM barf out money until the button is released. You can rotate him left or right by holding the attack or special buttons respectively.
  • Pressing taunt while crouching causes BCM to make the same noise as he does in his regular taunt.
  • Taunting with negative money will cause BCM to cough out a single dollar; resetting him back to $0. This is only possible if he is healed during down special.
  • There are 5 different QR Codes that can be used in neutral special, 2 of which are used at a time. Scanning these codes lead to some strange websites, which are listed below.

Trivia

  • Business Casual Man is the only NPC in either Card City Nights game who uses his original name instead of an alternate universe title.
  • Ludosity released a video that may show what Business Casual Man's game would probably look like if he had one. The video is linked below.
  • When beating Card City Nights, the game tallies the player's stats before revealing their end-game rank. The rank is always Business Casual; and the credits features his signature walk cycle.
  • His inception came as a doodle by Ludosity employee Nils, where he can be seen delivering the business to somebody's face.
